Timeline of Byline

Byline was designed in 2019, and submitted in to the 2020 Cardboard Edison awards.  Byline came runner-up in the Online competition.

Off the back of its success in the competition, in 2020 publisher Talon Strikes Studios picked up Byline with a plan to publish the game.  Over the next few years the game continued to be developed with a plan to launch on Kickstarter.

In 2025 the Talon Strikes Studios and I decided to end our working relationship.  By this time Byline had not gone to Kickstarter, but we had already organised Kickstarter previews of the game, which you will see included on this page.

In 2025 I set up Figment Box Games to self-publish Byline.

Byline will be published in 2026, and will be available through this website only.
